I recently stayed for one night at a lovely lodge while visiting for a family event. The rooms were impressively clean and spacious, featuring comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. I appreciated the en-suite bathrooms, equipped with heating and good lighting. The mini kitchenette was a great bonus, complete with tea, coffee, and a fridge stocked with milk. The warm hospitality from the host made my stay good, as she was friendly and responsive to my inquiries.

Brand-new king studio with skylight. Electric blankets, very comfy bed. The location magnificent and perfect close to the city centre. Also - very close to shops in a suburb, central Christchurch and restaurants, shopping and Japanese restaurant. The hotel of choice in Christchurch.

We had an excellent time in this hip new hotel in Christchurch. All the personnel was super-friendly. The beds were extremely comfy, the room was nicely decorated & fantastic. The property's location was great and unbeatable, to shops in a suburb. It was also very close to Riverside Market which was wonderful. Had supper in an authentic restaurant. We greatly enjoyed this, haven't been in a better property.

The room at Colombo Lodge Hotel was simply amazing! The king size bed felt like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, and the well-equipped kitchenette made it easy to whip up some meals. The WiFi was strong, perfect for uploading all my travel photos!
Personally, I found the air conditioning a bit too chilly at times, but I know some people might appreciate it.
